A War Account: 1-2-3-4.75

 Looking even further back, the historic events of the liberation of the South (April 30, 1975) have been progressively sorted and analyzed, andtheir message to us today has become ever more profound. The Vietnamese
version of the book A War Account: 1-2-3-4.75 by journalist and writer Tran Mai Hanh was first published by the  National Political Publishing House in April 2014. It has been continuously reprinted in 2015, 2016,2017, 2020 and 2025, and well-received as well as highly appreciated by readers. It has also won prestigious national and regional awards, including the2014 Literature Award from the Vietnam Writers’ Association and the 2015 S.E.A. Write Award. In 2017, the work was first translated into English, followed by translations into Lao in 2018 and Spanish in 2022 to introduce it to international readers. Since then, it has become one of the key publications promoting Vietnam’s diplomatic efforts.
